Waxing, shaving, sun exposure, and using deodorants can cause dark patches appear on your neck, inner thighs, and armpits. Excess melanin secretion of the skin, hormone imbalance, certain meds, and lack of vitamins, pregnancy, stress, and not getting enough sleep can also cause them. Also, those who suffer from diabetes, obesity, gastrointestinal or genitourinary cancer can have these dark spots, as well as those who go through hormonal treatments.
Products and treatments can cost a fortune, and they can be waste of time and money. However, natural ingredients like baking soda, olive oil, and salt can help in treating this condition. With them, your skin will look brighter, younger, and free of stains. Try to prepare this mixture and the problem will vanish.
- 1 tbsp. of salt;
- 1 tbsp. of olive oil;
- 1 tbsp. of baking soda.
How to prepare it: in a plastic bowl mix all of the ingredients to get a smooth paste. Apply it on the affected spots and let it act for 20 minutes, and then wash it off with cold water.
Milk, clay, and lemon can be used also for this issue. Mix them in a bowl and apply it on the affected spot, letting it act for 5 minutes, and then rinsing it off with cold water.
Repeat the treatments 3 times a week until the issue is eliminated.
- Consume a lot of water and eat foods high in vitamin E;
- Use UV protection sunscreen all the time when you go out to sun;
- You may add small amounts of coconut oil in the treatment;
- Use extra virgin oil, sea salt, and skimmed milk.
